New school readers for village libraries

Village libraries have not been renewing their book funds for more than 20 years, therefore most of the book funds and the entire school readers are old. The Public library discussed this with the local government representatives. Local government noticed the problem of the lack of school readers in village libraries due to the changes in the school curriculum. The result of these conversations was the decision of local government to invest 153,580 dinars in buying new books and readers for the Bunar, Bagrdan, Glavinci and Glogovac libraries.
Each of the libraries got 40 books in four copies. These readers are for high school students. Primary school students (Grade 1-4) in each village library got three sets of books. Primary school students (Grade 5-8) got four sets of books, available for each grade.
The Jagodina Public Library donated from its funds to the Glavinci library a desk for the librarian and a computer desk, as well as five chairs for the reading room.
